Manny Harris could be in line for a jump in P.T. for the Cleveland Cavaliers

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Need to step up by admin on Saturday 31 March 2012 at 10:17 pm

22-year old shooting guard Manny Harris is likely to see a bump in P.T. due to Daniel Gibson’s season ending injury.  Harris has played in 10 games (0 starts) for the Cavs so far this year and he is averaging 13.6 minutes, 5.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.  He is only shooting 35.2% from the floor so far this year and that is pretty awful.  Harris has now played in 64 games (15 starts) in his first two years with the Cavs and he is averaging 16.7 minutes, 5.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.  Harris needs to step up if he wants to have a future with the Cavaliers.

Anthony Parker is running on fumes for the Cleveland Cavaliers

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Need to step up by admin on Saturday 31 March 2012 at 10:14 pm

36-year old shooting guard Anthony Parker has played in 36 games (all starts) for the Cavs so far this year and he is averaging 24.8 minutes, 6.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.  He is only shooting 39.1% from the floor, 33.3% from three point range and 54.3% from the free throw line so far this year….and that’s pathetic for him.  Parker has now played in 189 games (182 starts) in his first three years with the Cavs and he is averaging 27.9 minutes, 7.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.  Parker is talking about retiring at the end of the season, so maybe the Cavs should get a look at some of their younger players at shooting guard.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are still getting outstanding work from their rookie class
