GAME #1: Cleveland Cavaliers 101, Boston Celtics 93

The Cavs were down 11 points at halftime last night but they woke up in the second half outscoring the Celtics 58-39 in the second half to pull away with a rousing home victory. LeBron James’ elbow might have been bugging him a bit but it didn’t show as he finished up with 35 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. Mo Williams energized the Cavs in the third quarter when he scored 8 consecutive points including his first dunk ever as a Cav over Paul Pierce. Williams finished up with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists last night. Shaquille O’Neal finished up with 11 points and 4 rebounds on 4 of 12 shooting from the floor but he had a couple of really hard fouls on Rajon Rondo that discouraged him from driving the lane in the second half of the game. J.J. Hickson made a brief and outstanding performance for the Celtics last night with 11 points and 2 rebounds in 12 minutes off the bench. The Cavaliers are up 1-0 in this series which continues tomorrow night in Cleveland.

GAME #5: Cleveland Cavaliers 96, Chicago Bulls 94

The Cavaliers won a hard fought battle with the Bulls last night to move on to the next round of the NBA Playoffs. Antwan Jamison led the way for the Cavs last night with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot. LeBron James filled up the stat sheet with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 blocked shots. Delonte West was solid off the bench in this game with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists in 31 minutes. Shaquille O’Neal was solid around the basket with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 26 minutes on 7 of 9 shooting from the floor. The Cavaliers win this series 4-1 and they will start up against the Boston Celtics in Round #2 of the playoffs starting Saturday in Cleveland.

GAME #4: Cleveland Cavaliers 121, Chicago Bulls 98

The Cavaliers punished the Bulls yesterday as they shot 53.2% from the floor while holding the Bulls to 37.4% shooting from the floor which helps explain the scoreboard. LeBron James was unstoppable for the Cavs yesterday as he got a impressive triple double with 37 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists and 2 steals. Antwan Jamison backed up LeBron with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. Mo Williams pitched in with 19 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in this game. Anthony Parker (12 points) and J.J. Hickson (10 points) both pitched in offensively for the Cavaliers yesterday. The Cavaliers are now up 3-1 in this series as they will be looking to put the Bulls away in Game #5.

GAME #3: Chicago Bulls 108, Cleveland Cavaliers 106

The Cavaliers didn’t play any defense last night as the Bulls shot 50% from the floor and they dug too big of a hole in this game to come all the way back and win it. The Cavaliers woke up outscoring the Bulls 38-29 as the “Cleveland Sucks” chants seemed to fire up the team. LeBron James was outstanding as usual last night as he finished up with 39 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots. Mo Williams did a solid job also last night with 21 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Antwan Jamison was very tough inside as he finished up with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists last night. The Cavaliers are now up 2-1 in this series as the Bulls now have their full attention.

GAME #2: Cleveland Cavaliers 112, Chicago Bulls 102

The Bulls stuck with the Cavs for three quarters before the Cavs swatted them like a fly on the wall. The Cavaliers outscored the Bulls 35-25 in the 4th quarter pulling away from the Bulls. The Cavaliers shot 56.3% from the floor in this game and they were 10 of 20 from three point range. LeBron James led the way for the Cavs last night with 40 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots on 16 of 23 shooting from the floor. Antwan Jamison (14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists) and Mo Williams (12 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists) both helped out offensively for the Cavs last night. But, Jamario Moon was awesome last night as he and LeBron really led the Cavs down the stretch last night to victory. He scored 12 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and he blocked 2 shots last night but it was his shooting that was off the hook as he hit 4 of 5 shots from three point range stabbing the Bulls with daggers in the 4th quarter. The Cavaliers are up 2-0 in this series as it shifts to Chicago.
