Anderson Varejao is stepping up for the Cleveland Cavaliers
27-year old PF/C Anderson Varejao might not be in the starting line-up but he plays just as much as one. He has played in 40 games (6 starts) for the Cavaliers so far this season and he is averaging 30.4 minutes, 8.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.0 blocked shot and 1.0 steal per game. Varejao has been outstanding without the ball cutting to the basket which has resulted in him hitting 51.2% of his shots from the floor this season. Lately though Varejao has been even better than usual as he is averaging 33.4 minutes, 10.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocked shots per game in his last five contests. Other than LeBron James and Mo Williams it could be argued that Varejao would be the hardest Cavs player to replace.
