The Cleveland Cavaliers look solid at point guard
The Cavaliers have a young and very talented duo who will run the offense for the Cavaliers this season. 26-year old Mo Wiliams had the best year of his NBA career last season. He played in 81 games for the Cavs and he averaged 35.0 minutes, 17.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. While not a pure, pass first point guard Williams still gets the ball to where it needs to be. He also is a excellent shooter who benefits from all of the double teams on LeBron James. Look for him to make the All-Star team this season after being snubbed last year. 23-year old long range bomber Daniel Gibson will back up Williams this season. He is also a shoot first point guard. He played in 75 games for the Cavaliers last season and he averaged 23.9 minutes, 7.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Gibson could step in an do a decent job if Mo Williams were injured. Veteran Delonte West will also likely play some point guard this season and he’s a shoot first guy too.
