The Cavaliers would love to give rookie center Lance Allred a chance to show what he can do next season. He is the first completely deaf player to play in a NBA game. He played in 3 games (0 starts) for the Cavs this season and he averaged 3.3 minutes, 1.0 point and 0.3 rebounds per game. Allred only shot 4 times making only 1 of them from the floor (25%).

The Cavaliers didn’t hit the boards as they usually do as the Celtics outrebounded them 39-29 and it really hurt the Cavs in their last game of the season earlier today. You can’t blame LeBron James for this loss as he scored 45 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 6 assists and stole the ball 2 times. Delonte West had a decent game as he finished up with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Zydrunas Ilgauskas had one of his worst games of the season as he finished with 8 points and 5 rebounds on 2 of 8 shooting from the floor. The Cavs season is now over as they lost this series to the Celtics 4-3.

The Cavaliers only shot 32.9% from the floor as a team on Friday Night but it didn’t matter in the end. That’s because the Celtics were held to 39.7% shooting from the floor and the Cavs outrebounded them 45-37! LeBron James led the way for the Cavs with 32 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Delonte West pitched in with 10 points and 3 rebounds. Joe Smith was solid off the bench with 9 points and 5 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench. The Cavs and Celtics are now knotted at 3 games apiece with the deciding game later this afternoon in Boston.

Boston Celtics 96, Cleveland Cavaliers 89

The Cavaliers fought hard but they just weren’t good enough to pull out a win in Boston. LeBron James dominated with 35 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Delonte West also had a really solid game finishing with 21 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Wally Szczerbiak pitched in with 10 points and 4 rebounds. The Cavaliers fell behind 3-2 in this series with this loss.

Cleveland Cavaliers 88, Boston Celtics 77

The Cavaliers outscored the Celtics 20-12 in the 4th quarter last Monday to pull away with a nice victory. The Cavs played great defense holding the Celtics to 38.6% shooting from the floor and it was a huge reason for the win. LeBron James was only 7 of 20 shooting from the floor but he still stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, 6 rebounds, 13 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. Wally Szczerbiak had a decent game with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Daniel Gibson was solid off the bench with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 28 minutes. Anderson Varejao was also impressive off the bench with 12 points and 6 rebounds in 26 minutes. The Cavaliers knotted this series at 2-2 with this win.
