The Cavaliers lost last night despite outrebounding the Wizards 51-36! LeBron James led the way for the Cavs with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Sasha Pavlovic also had an outstanding game as he finished with 24 points in only 29 minutes before fouling out. Delonte West was busy with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. The Cavs are now 37-29 on the season.

New Jersey Nets 104, Cleveland Cavaliers 99

The Cavaliers’ defense let them down on Wednesday Night as the Nets shot 51.3% from the floor. LeBron James led the way for the Cavs with 42 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 blocked shots. Devin Brown also had a solid game as he finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Damon Jones pitched in with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists off the bench. The Cavaliers are now 37-28 on the season.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas will miss some time for the Cleveland Cavaliers

Zydrunas Ilgauskas will miss at least another week with a strained back. He has played in 58 games (all starts) for the Cavs this season and he is averaging 30.5 minutes, 13.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 blocked shots per game. Anderson Varejao will replace big Z in the starting lineup and he should be able to provide the defense and rebounding Z does, but he’s nowhere near the offensive player that Ilgauskas is.

Cleveland Cavaliers 88, Portland Trailblazers 80

The Cavaliers played great defense on Monday Night as they held the Blazers to 39.7% shooting from the floor. LeBron James led the way for the Cavs with 24 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists and 2 blocked shots. Joe Smith was outstanding off the bench with 18 points and 5 rebounds in 26 minutes. Anderson Varejao was outstanding in the paint as he finished up with 16 points and 9 rebounds. The Cavaliers are now 37-27 on the season.

Cleveland Cavaliers 103, Indiana Pacers 95

The Cavaliers outrebounded the Pacers 54-37 last Saturday and it was a huge reason for the win. LeBron James led the way for the Cavs with 38 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocked shots. Anderson Varejao had his best game of the season as he finished with 15 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Delonte West did a decent job of running the offense as he finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. The Cavaliers are now 36-27 on the season.
