The Cavs really played well on offense tonight and that was the reason for the win in this game. King James made ammends for a horrible opening night game with 45 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals. Daniel Gibson was also outstanding as he added 24 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. Gibson was also 6 for 9 on three point shot attempts. Drew Gooden had a solid game inside with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Big Z also had another decent game with 8 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. The Cavs are now 1-1 on the season.

The Cavaliers really laid an egg in the season opener for the whole world to see on ESPN. The Cavs outrebounded the Mavs in this game 47-36 but that’s because of all the bricks they were laying as they only hit 36.4% of their shots from the floor. Zydrunas Ilgauskas was the one Cavs player that came to play last night as he scored 17 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. Drew Gooden also had a semi-good game with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists. LeBron James was held scoreless in the first half of the game for the first time in his career. He finished the game only hitting 2 of 11 shots from the floor as he scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. The Cavs are lucky this only counts as 1 loss as they are now 0-1 on the season.
