The Cavaliers get big OT win 101-97 over the Pistons in Detroit

The Cavs really hit the boards hard last night as they outrebounded the Pistons 48-38 and that really helped them in this game. LeBron James was unstoppable with 41 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. Drew Gooden also had a good game with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Big Z was tough near the basket with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Cavaliers prevail 91-85 over the Rockets in Cleveland

The Cavaliers played great defense last night as they held the Rockets to only 36% shooting from the floor last night. LeBron James had a stellar game last night with 32 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Larry Hughes also had a great game with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.

Rookie to miss a couple of weeks

Rookie point guard Daniel Gibson will miss the next two weeks with a sprained toe. He has played in 45 games and he’s averaged 17.3 minutes, 5.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game so far this season. Gibson really does a good job of pushing the ball up court on offense and they will likely miss him the next two weeks.

The Cavaliers destroy the Raptors 120-98 in Cleveland

The Cavaliers played a great all around game last night! They held the Raptors to 38.7% shooting from the floor and they outrebounded the Raptors 54-45 and those were two big reasons for the victory last night. LeBron James led the way with a fantastic game as he scored 35 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 6 assists and blocked 3 shots. LeBron was also 15 for 17 from the free throw line which was quite an improvement for him. Larry Hughes also had a great game with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The Cavs got stellar bench work from Donyell Marshall (12 points, 9 rebounds), Anderson Varejao (14 points, 11 rebounds) and Shannon Brown (14 points).

The Cavaliers lose a tough one 95-92 to the Mavericks in Dallas

If the Cavs would just hit their free throws they would have won this game. The Cavs were only 7 of 14 from the free throw line. LeBron James was unstoppable last night as he scored 39 points, snatched 3 rebounds and dished out 5 assists. Donyell Marshall had a solid game off of the bench with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in only 20 minutes. Sasha Pavlovic got a rare start and he scored 11 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and dished out 3 assists.
